What this test is
The test follows the structure of the real JLPT: language knowledge (vocabulary), grammar and reading, and listening with audio. Questions are drawn from a pool of over 2,000, so retaking it does not mean seeing the same questions again.
It is built for people working or job hunting in Japan who need to know where they actually stand, not for people who just want a number. That is why the result comes with a section breakdown and study advice, not only a level.

Is this the official JLPT?
No. This is a practice diagnostic built in the same format so you can estimate your level and find weak spots before the real exam.
Does the listening audio work on a phone?
Yes. Each listening question has its own play button and works in a phone browser.
Is the test free?
There is a free sample you can take right away with no payment. The full test for each level is paid, and it includes the full question review and the shareable result.
Do I need to know my level before I start?
No. Pick the level closest to where you think you are. If it turns out to be too easy or too hard, the result will tell you, and you can take a different level next.
Can I take it on my phone?
Yes. It works in a phone browser.
What if I run out of time?
Each section has its own timer. When the timer ends the section closes and your answers so far are kept.
