What this test is

In Japanese hiring, the format of your documents and your conduct in the room are weighed alongside your actual ability. What counts as a normal resume elsewhere often does not apply here, so each question isolates one of those differences.

The beginner level covers document basics and interview etiquette, the intermediate level covers self-PR and follow-up questions, and the advanced level goes into final and executive interviews and negotiating an offer.

Questions people ask

Is this useful for mid-career hiring?

Yes. The shokumu-keirekisho and offer negotiation are mid-career topics, so the intermediate and advanced levels apply directly.

Can I take this in English?

This one is Japanese only. If you want to be assessed on English-language interviews and resumes, see the English interview and resume assessment.

Is the test free?

There is a free sample you can take right away with no payment. The full test for each level is paid, and it includes the full question review and the shareable result.

Do I need to know my level before I start?

No. Pick the level closest to where you think you are. If it turns out to be too easy or too hard, the result will tell you, and you can take a different level next.

Can I take it on my phone?

Yes. It works in a phone browser.

What if I run out of time?

Each section has its own timer. When the timer ends the section closes and your answers so far are kept.
